Hi, I’m Erika!

Artistry, beauty, and creativity have been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. Turning that passion into a career has been one of the great gifts of my life. Since I founded my photography business in 2013, I have had the privilege of capturing the moments, people, and stories that matter most to the clients who trust me with them.

I am based in Lake Orion, Michigan, and I work with clients across metro Detroit and Southeast Michigan, including Oakland, Lapeer, and Macomb counties. My work spans senior portraits, family sessions, equestrian photography, pet portraits, headshots, and commercial and branding work. Every session is a fully custom experience built around you, from the first planning conversation through the finished artwork hanging on your wall.

While I love many forms of photography, equestrian photography holds a particularly special place in my heart. The bond between horse and rider is unlike anything else. It is built on trust, patience, and years of quiet dedication. Capturing that relationship beautifully takes someone who understands it from the inside, and I bring that understanding to every session I photograph in the field.

When I am not behind the camera you can find me spending time with my husband and daughter, baking something sweet, or out in the garden (rain or shine). I am a Lake Orion local through and through, and there is nothing I love more than working with families and businesses right here in the community I call home. I truly cannot wait to meet you.
